luchador-maskReal-World Wrestling Promotion

At the very heart of the project is a real wrestling promotion that will run events in front of a live audience and stream them online for fans worldwide. Adopting an episodic, Sports Entertainment style, we'll be the only product of our kind native to the United Kingdom.

While the United Kingdom is highlighted as the strongest and most matured market without native competition, India and others are also areas we will be making strong efforts to establish a following in and tour.

Why Wrestling?

  • A hugely overlooked market that is always on the cusp of new technology. Wrestling has been a big player in the early adoption of gaming, its community one of the first big breakthroughs for the internet and isn’t anti-Web3 by nature.

  • Professional wrestling has always had a die-hard fanbase, from the 80’s with Hulk Hogan, Macho Man Randy Savage and Ric Flair, to the 90’s with Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock and the NWO. It remains the #1 watched live product in the US outside of the NFL.

  • Unlike sports, wrestling’s pre-determined nature allows the careful development and building of stars. It also possess a larger fanbase than MMA, Kickboxing or Karate.

Why in UK?

  • UK has been an enormous financial market for WWE (formerly WWF) since the 80’s. Selling 78,927 tickets for Summerslam 1992 at Wembley Stadium, WWE continues to make annual visits for PPV and tours.

  • TNA, while a declining product in the US at the time, were financially successful in the UK with their tours in the mid 2010’s.

  • AEW held its top event ‘All In’ at Wembley Stadium, selling 81,000 tickets in 2023, then 46,476 in 2024.

  • The UK is prime for its own mainstream style product, as the American companies are unable to fill the demand due to their US priorities.

No Native Competitor

One of the most exciting factors in doing this now is that we'll launch with no native competitors. All the UK based companies fall into the "Super Indie" category, a style most known for it's matches based around in-ring quality but neglecting showmanship, an ongoing storyline or any sort of episodic impact for the audience. These companies are booked this way to sell tickets and each event is largely a separate entity with no need to have watched previous shows.

The other type of product in UK right now are your "Local" shows. Small budget weekend shows run every few months infront of 50-150 people. They lack star power and are aimed at small children and families. Many of these companies even do tribute shows with wrestlers dressing up as more famous wrestlers.

No other company is running our mainstream "Sports Entertainment" style where each show impacts the next, with ongoing storylines to draw in fans. While the three American companies who do are unable to do more than 1-2 TV episodes a year and a PPV in the UK, due to their time zone and television commitments in the United States.
